Episode 25: Even weight loss coaches eat 6 cookies sometimes...

In 2010 I wrote a blog about how I ate 6 cookies in one day. Yes, it is true… I ate 6 cookies on a Sunday in 2010, a year after healing my weight and food struggles.  Not all in one sitting, binge eating hasn’t crept back in my life since I chose to love myself, but over the course of the day, my cookie tally reached the very scary 6.  Now just to be clear they weren’t all the same cookie, no I would never do that.  I had two Carmel delights, two lemon cookies, and two homemade peanut butter cookies (made with wheat flour.)

Most of you that know me, know how much I love cookies.  They are absolutely fabulous and I almost always have homemade cookies in my pantry.  It is because of the fact that I keep them in my pantry that I very rarely ever overeat them.  But this day (Sunday) I overate cookies, and in the past, this would have been enough to spiral down into a very dark hole.

So at the end of the day, when I felt the guilt starts creeping in, I stopped and I asked my body why it didn’t stop me from eating all of those cookies.  And it gave me some answers, and I want to share those with you 10 years later they are still relevant.

In this episode, I will also talk about the #1 reason the world is still struggling with weight and food and the 3 things you need to increase to permanently decrease overeating, binge eating, and weight gain.

I referenced this journal to help increase these 3 things that you can purchase today for only $25.
