The Confidence Formula (It’s Not What You Think)

But the truth is, real confidence isn’t about hype, results, or pretending you don’t feel doubt. It’s built on something way more stable.
In this post, I’ll walk you through the actual formula for building unshakable confidence—and why most people are looking in the wrong place.
Myth #1: Confidence Comes from Winning
Winning feels good. But if your belief in yourself only shows up when you're getting the outcome you want, it’s fragile.
You can’t control every scoreboard. But you can control your state, your habits, and your identity.
Confidence that lasts doesn’t come from validation. It comes from preparation.
Myth #2: Confidence Means Never Feeling Doubt
Even the best competitors feel doubt. The difference is, they don’t panic when it shows up.
They trust their process. They return to their plan. They let the doubt pass without attaching to it.
Real confidence says: “I might not feel perfect right now, but I know who I am under pressure.”
Myth #3: Confidence Is Something You Either Have or You Don’t
Nope. Confidence isn’t fixed. It’s built.
And you can build it with the same three elements I teach in my mindset training:
The Real Confidence Formula: Clarity + Rhythm + Reset
1. Clarity
Confidence grows when you know what you’re doing. When your task is clear and your intention is sharp, there’s no space for overthinking.
2. Rhythm
Confidence is embodied. When you move in rhythm—your rhythm—you stay connected to your body, breath, and pace. You don’t rush. You don’t collapse. You flow.
3. Reset
Confidence doesn't mean perfection. It means knowing how to bounce back. The quicker you can reset after a mistake or spiral, the faster you reclaim your power.
When these three elements are present, confidence becomes a byproduct—not a performance requirement.
